LA Grand Expands Into Accessories

With more than 60% of our “regular buyers wanting to see more accessories and handbags at OFFPRICE, some of the apparel jobbers are adding this category to their product line. One of the prime examples is LA Grand (Booth #2221, 2221a).

The LA jobber that carries just about everything in men’s, women’s and children’s, is now proud to offer

- handbags

- caps

- hats

- scarves

- gloves

- necklaces and jewelry

Other additions include flip flops, socks, underwear, and basics suited for printers and embellishers (a huge market for them). All of the new products are non-branded, and good for any kind of store, especially from lower-end to mid-range operations.

Owner Harry Nassib said that their decision to expand into accessories and related items was based on two factors.

“Our customers want us to be a one-stop shop for them. They are pleased with the deals we provide for them in apparel, and they want us to deliver similar values for them in accessories and other categories. Our experiences with both our customers and our sourcing partners have told us that accessories are doing well, and we have the ability to do better by our retailers in this area. In addition, our expansion is of great benefit to our clients who serve the tourism and gift industries.”
